Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your Invitedd account and what happens to your data afterwards. Invitedd is a service provided by Weblord, the Dutch sole proprietorship of Lionel Lord (Chamber of Commerce 70417032).

You delete your account yourself, in the app for iOS or Android or in your browser at invitedd.app:

1. Sign in with the account you want to delete.
2. Open Settings.
3. Choose Delete account.
4. Type DELETE and choose Delete permanently.

In your browser, you can also go straight to invitedd.app/settings/account. If you are not signed in yet, you land there right after signing in.

Deleting your account cannot be undone.

Send an email from your account’s email address to support@invitedd.app and ask us to delete your account. That way we know the request really comes from you. We then delete the account for you, with the same result as described below.

As soon as you confirm, this happens:

• Your account is closed and you are signed out on all your devices.
• Your API tokens and connected apps stop working, and you no longer receive push notifications.
• Your invitations go offline at once. Guests can no longer open them.
• Your email address and your Google or Apple sign-in are released, so you can use them for a new account later.

After 29 days, we permanently delete your account and everything that belongs to it:

• Your account details, such as your name, email address, password and profile photo
• All your invitations and flyers
• Your guests and their replies, including their answers to your questions
• The photos, guestbook, wishlist, program, polls and every other part of your invitations

This happens automatically overnight. So within 30 days of deleting your account, all your personal data is gone, except for what we describe below.

If you bought Premium, we keep your invoices and the records of those payments for seven years, because Dutch tax law requires it. An invoice shows your name and address as they were at the time of purchase, and it is no longer linked to your account.

Technical logs of our servers, which include IP addresses, are kept for up to six months to keep the service secure.
